Craig's Story

Craig played JV and Varsity Football, he graduated from Woodlawn High School in the Fall of 81 and returned for his diploma in 82. He joined the Army and left the US in 1984. He served in several European countries in official and unofficial capacities in various military specialties that began as a Linguist on a German Border Camp during the Cold War. Craig was the number two DJ in Germany from 84-87 with a regular rotation of Clubs. As an Army Boxing coach Craig won 3 Armed Forces-Europe Boxing Championships, he coached 4 Golden Gloves Champions, the third ever female All Army Boxing Candidate for the International Games and Olympic boxing semi-finalist / Samoan MMA fighter Deutsch Puu. Craig has spent more time overseas than in the US, returning to he US in 2006 after a 23 years of distinguished Military Service. ghtning, and U.S. 1st Marines Expeditionary Force. Craig was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge for actions in the Sunni Triangle in the insurgent's Easter Offensive and Battles in Ramadi, Samarra, An Najaf, Baquoba and Fallujah. Craig also received the Presidential Unit Citation (Individual) and Valorous Unit Citation as part of Task Force 2/2 Infantry during Operation Phantom Fury, the second Battle of Fallujah Iraq, Nov 2004. Retired from the Military Craig enjoyed second careers with the Department of Defense that included: Program Manager, Strategic Analyst, Executive Management. Craig loves to spending time with his wife, Marita, Grand Children, making mixtapes, working out, and scuba diving. Regardless of where he is in the world Craig tries not to miss a Ravens game. Craig finalized his career as the Director of .a Multinational Organization, that supports over 29,000 Soldiers in Special Operations Command and European Command. In June 2021 Craig retired for good, He and Marita now travel the World.
