Went on to medicine, as planned since I was perhaps five; finished training and started family practice in Grand Rapids in 1977, where I've been ever since. My folks also moved over here in 1981 when Dad switched to a position here before retiring in '88, so there's been nobody left in Saginaw for ...Expand for more
a long time now. Married since 1981 to a great lady from Big Rapids; it's been a two-briefcase family with one daughter who graduated Notre Dame and is now (2009) a 3L at Michigan Law. We split our time between home in GR and a spot on Lake Michigan; no retirement for a while, because I still actually enjoy almost all of what I do! Life is good---
