Crystal's Story
What does one say after almost 45 years of noncommunications. I took many college courses after High School,but I never considered getting an actual Degree, I guess math always put me off. I took many english and History Courses, If I could do it again, I would be a History teacher. I just love the school atmosphere. I got married at 22, met my husband at a horse stables, yes we owned horses. Then we had 3 children. Alas, no grandchildren so far. My husband died May 18 2008.
I am trying to sell my home in Boiling Springs, PA.; currently lving with my sister, in Flordia while taking care of my 96 year old mother.
I worked as a secretary/nurse/teachers aide in an elementary school for 10 years and then a Principals' secretary for the last 8 years. (Teacher wannab...Expand for more
e) I retired early to take care of my husband. So here I am wondering where "old" school friends are and what they are up to.
I hope someday to travel and see all those wonderful historical places of which I have read. I am an avid reader.
Sorry so say the Library down here isn't the best but at least they have free books to read. I spend way too much money on books. I, of course, prefer Historical fiction; although I read everything. Rosemund Pilcher, Ann River Siddons, Jane Austen. I LOVED all the Harry Potter books, and the entire Twilight series by Stephenie Meyers what great writers, I wished I had the imagination to write like that. One of my favotire books is the Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.
