Life
My Spouse
Met my husband, Chad, while in school. He graduated from Weatherford in 1993. We married in June of 1995. He has been in the Navy since 1994 and participated in the war in Iraq in 2002 and has returned from Iraq again in September 2005. The ship that he was on, the USS ASHLAND, made the news before returning home. The ship had pulled into a port in Amman Jordan on the journey back to the US and missiles were fired at the ship. With the
grace of God, no one was injured but it was a tense couple of days before I was able to have any e-mail contact with Chad. We returned to the area with the
Dallas Recruiting District in December 2005 and are stationed out of the Weatherford Navy Recruiting Station in College Park. Been 10 years s...Expand for more
ince we have lived near home, so it has been quite a change for us. We lived in Jacksonville Florida for 7 years and have lived in Norfolk Virginia area for the last 4 years. We have been in the Waetherford area now going on 3 years. Chad just received his new set of orders and he will be returning to the Norfolk area in January 2009. He will be driving high powered security boats for the ports there and will be deployed back to the war area when they are called up for other types of security. Our two boys and myself will stay in this area when he returns to the east coast.
My Kids
I have two children. My oldest, Jonathon Taylor,was born April 1996 and turned 12 this April and my youngest,Dillion Thomas, was born May 2001 and turned 7 this May.
