Curtis's Story
Life
I have been most places in Asia and served a Mormon (LDS) mission to Taipei, Taiwan, from 1981-1982. This was the cornerstone experience of my life! My current career and happiness is based on the things I learned as a Missionary. I am married to a wonderful Chinese woman from SiChuan, China! She is an sketch artist and is a wonderful friend and partner! I was born in Minnesota, grew up in North Dakota until the age of 9, lived in Southern California until my teen years, and then in Utah from 1976 until 2000. We now reside in California. Life has been good to me and I have nothing that I lack for in either love, material, education, employment nor spiritual blessings and needs!

not great high school student, doing just enough to get by, without trying to push myself too much. This was mostly due to the fact that I was always the new kid on the block! I went to 3 different High Schools, no middel schools and at least 7 different grade schools. I was on the Jordan High School (Sandy, Utah) honor roll 3 semesters as a Senior in 1978 and 1979. I attended the University of Utah in 1979 for just one semester before dropping out because I lacked the emotional and mental strength to succeed. I then then transferred to Brigham Young University in 1984 and graduated with a 3.53 gpa in 1988, excelling in the humanities, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Mandarin Chinese and International Relations, with an emphasis on Asian Studies. Have had no further higher learning since my graduation from BYU in 1988.
