Life
Got out of school in 69. Joined the Air Force after trying my hand at metal work (Black Iron)machine operator. Shattered my left knee playing Air Force Softball. Got a new one somewhere around 87-88. B1-Bomber maintenance grate fell on me and broke my neck in 92 medically retired from Airforce at that time. Went to Abilene Christian University for Social Work. Graduated with honors in 97. Became a Lic Social Worker in 97. became a branch director of Boys and Girls club in 98. Gave up the boys and Girls Club to become Program Director at Hope Haven, a homeless living facility. ceived homeless program of the year award 2002 in Texas. Crashed my Iron Horse into 80 year old man driving a Suburben. He wanted to turn left I wanted to go straight (He won). broke my pelvis, right hip, right shoulder, 2 ribs went through my rt lung, and totaled my horse. Later left knee gave out do to wear and tear got a new one but it didn't work to good. Knees got worse, neck got bad, got corporal tunnel syndrome and lost feeling in right thumb and first two fingers. Couldn't walk, wright, or turn my head. Became 100% disabled in 2005. Feds bought off on it so now I live on disability and Air Force Retirement. YOU ASKED!!
