Attended Bancroft Jr High School from Winter 1967 through Summer 1969. They built a new Gym and we had a sock hop! I remember Mr. Dixon's math class and some kind of experiments with pith balls in Mr. Tomi's science class. Hot garlic bread or apples from the vending machine for nutrition break, Boston Bean & Watermelon Stix candies. An after school bus ride to the Farmer's Market at 3rd & Fairfax or a walk on Hollywood Blvd after school to check out the record store and bookshop were some fun things.
