Cyndi's Story
Well, I am just ME :O) Cyndi. Life has taken alot of different Twists and turns for me through the past few years, and I have Become A Stronger Person For it, although I would have rather had it go a different way, especially with My Son Jason. Jason and Sean (My Sons) Have been my Life, and they got me through times that I didn't think I would make it through. Ok, in short... Very Hard Marriage to their Father, and He kind of liked to get a little Physical with Me and Our Sons. I said Enough and Walked out. From there, I met the most wonderful Loving Man in the World, and We were married in 1995. Jimmie became the Father that Jason And Sean Desired and needed, and Our Family Was complete. We moved to Las Vegas in 1997. We both worked, and we started a Bluegrass Band. Had alot of fun with that, and Had fun gettin in our RV with Jason and Sean and just taking off. In 2003 Jimmie and I moved to Oregon, and Jason and Sean were old enough to Be on their Own, which was a Hard Pill for This Mom to swallow, but I swallowed in Lumps and tears and Accepted the fact that They grew up to Be fine Young men who were ready to see the world on their Own. Ok, Here comes the Hard part, but in a way good for me to express. On April 16th at 3:30 am We got a knock on our door (in Oregon). It was the Sherrifs Department. My world was just about to change, and Drastically. My Son Jason (had moved to Southern California, and Had a Wonderful Job in a Hospital) was walking home from Work and ...Expand for more
was Held up by Four HORRID INDIVIDUALS! They shot My Child and Left him there on the street. We got there as soon as we could. My Baby went Home that Evening, and As I said My World Was Changed forever. I don't write this to get attention, but I do want everyone to Know, Life is a rollercoaster with turns and loops and sometimes the deepest Plunges that You think you will never come back up from, but in time You will. It takes a while, which for me sometimes seems to be a lifetime, but Here I am. We moved back to Las Vegas shortly after, and this way we were closer to Sean to, as he needed us back to. We got back into music again, and I am Proud to Say we Have Put together a Wonderful Show, Our Tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter. We Love it, and It is also Therapy! MUSIC CAN HEAL! Jimmie does Johnny Cash, Of course and There I am right Next to him, Doing June, and Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline. If they allow me to put it in here, you can check us out at.; johnnycashvegastribute.com As I said, Music is Healing, and I can attest to that first Hand. Jason is with Me everytime I hit that stage, and throughout each and every day. Well, that Pretty much sums me up. Please Remember to Take Each day as if it were a Treasure, and Hold onto it tightly and handle it with care. Love those who are close to you, and cherish each and every moment. Life is a Precious Gift, Open it with Care and Love it every day. TAKE CARE AND KEEP A SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND IN YOUR HEART ALWAYS :O)
