Cyndi's Story
I don't think I stood out that much in high school. Many of you may not even remember me. I was pretty much my own person and didn't really hang with any particular crowd but always got along with everyone and enjoyed my time at West High. Unfortunately I lost my dad a few months after graduation and became engaged to someone who was in the class of 1974. That didn't last long and my life changed forever afterwards.
I went on to experience awesome times and opportunities as well as some extremely difficult times. Through it all I have tried to live life to the fullest. In 1983 I married my wonderful husband. We have traveled to many places in the United States, Canada and Mexico. We love the outdoors as well as camping and boating. Spent many weekends camping up north or down on the St. Croix sipping cool drinks on the boat while living in Minnesot...Expand for more
a. We have also lived in California, Wisconsin, Florida, Hawaii and now Arizona. We have a bit of the nomad gene in both of us.
Unfortunately no children but have always had a "dog" family.
I am a survivor in many ways. Over the years I have been diagnosed with some serious issues including breast cancer in 2002. But life goes on and I am here and I've learned a lot. I am truly blessed to have the husband I have and to still be around...
FYI: I have been wanting to get this off my chest since the 1975 yearbook came out. I DID NOT enjoy driving "CABS" as the typo stated in the yearbook. It was suppose to read "CARS". What girl would drive cabs at 17 and enjoy it? My dad was into racing and I had the unique opportunity to drive lots of fun and fast cars. My first big purchase after graduation was a 1970 Corvette! Sorry, but now I feel better...
