Cyndi's Story
Life
I am very happily married and living in Parker, Colorado. We have a beautiful daughter who was born in 2004, and two awesome cats. I am working in the healthcare IT field once again, and still can't figure out how time flies so quickly. I can barely keep up with daily life and work, so e-mail tends to take a back seat. I have no time for, or interest in Facebook or any other time-consuming online "social" activities. Friends are important, so I prefer to speak to them either in person or on the phone (yes, I prefer a good, old-fashioned landline as opposed to my not-so-smart cell phone). I miss a lot of the friends from high school (Dianne West, if you happen to read this, hello and I hope life has been good to you), and I especially miss having the opportunity to reconn...Expand for more
ect with the teachers. I would love to be able to talk with them and let them know how much they have all influenced my life over the years, and also to express my gratitude to them.
As for Classmates.com, I liked it much better way back in the beginning when it was free. I also don't care for all the fake names that people post and all the names that come up as being part of our graduating class when they are not in any of the yearbooks. I would like to be able to connect with the real people I remember from high school, without having to pay some website.
OK.... I'm off the soapbox for now. I hope all you REAL classmates out there are doing well and enjoying life. Maybe we'll run into each other one of these days (preferably in person). Take care, have fun, and stay safe!
