Cyndie's Story
Life
For those who may remember, I was a band geek. Quiet, not very outgoing, and a few select friends. Moving to Ocean my Sophomore year was challenging, but it enabled me to grow. I had my share of boyfriends (you know who you are) and those who were close to me will remember the fun we had. A lot has changed over the years, and I am no longer quiet. Ask my kids....

t is my advocation now. I still play regularly in church and various outside events.
I met and married Scott Van Bavel (Jimmy's brother for those of you who remember) in 1986. We lived in Edison and Cranford and moved back to Ocean in 1992. We have two teenagers, Jennifer (a Junior at OTHS) and Christopher (a Sophomore at Coastal Learning Center, Howell). Scott and I are both active with Boy Scout troop 70 out of Oakhurst. I am currently working at a credit union in Tinton Falls in the service area of our Call Center. We live in Wanamassa.
