Cynthia's Story
Life:
I still live in Brookside, in my parents' old house. --I married Raouly Garcia in 1974, divorced later; we're still friends (he now has an awesome third wife and two little girs)
--First kid, Raouly, Jr., born 1977 (currently a tattoo artist, owns Catalyst Arts Collective Tattoo Shop in Independence, MO). He married Becky Gregory in 2009.
--I worked in graphic arts from 1978 to 1989
--Happily married to Don McGee since 1985
--Second kid, Kia, born 1988 (she graduated from UMKC with a degree in Spanish)
--I finally started coll...Expand for more
ege in 1990-then it seems I couldn't quit collecting degrees.
--Formerly vice principal at Foreign Language Academy, KCMO (started teaching there in 1999) Love it! Best school around!
--One dog, a min-pin named Chico, and one cat, named Ziggy. Cat is MUCH friendlier than the dog!
--I retired from the Kansas City Missouri School DIstrict in June of 2013.
--Currently, I'm a receptionist for Meyer Brothers, a commercial construction and commercial real estate company. Some of the nicest people in the world!
