Life
I have been married since 1982, Had my son in 1984, & moved to Missouri in 1986, where I have lived ever since. Right now, I am working at an intermodal trucking company, doing payroll and various tasks. I have worked there several years, with no plan to change. My husband was a machinist, but switched over to purchasing a few years back. He has worked at the same company since 1986. I am still a bit quiet & shy till I get to know you. Once I get comfortable knowing someone, I really open up. I am a pretty laid back person. I'm a kidney transplant patient. My sister donated one of hers to me in 1989. That is going rather well! (November 2012 23 yrs!)
My son lost his kidneys at 18, and is currently on hemo-dialysis. He also has a heart problem. We have a cat, though years back we did have a dog & some lizzards, and a turtl...Expand for more
e. Life has been an adventure... some of it bad, some of it good, as I am sure it is with everyone. I'm blessed in so many ways. I would love to hear from anyone that I went to school with. I wish I would have been more outgoing in school. I was so shy & quiet. It's hard to make friends when you're that way.way.
August 2008 my son had a stroke during surgery. Couldn't move anything but his head for 2 weeks. Didn't lose his speech though! Thank goodness! He is almost ready to be on the transplant list. He just needs to stay healty.
It's been over 1 year now, since my sons stroke. His hands are still not back to normal and his left leg isn't either. May not ever be. That doesn't stop him from doing things.
Well, my son passed away on October 2, 2010 from kidney & heart problems. He suffered greatly, but He is at peace now.
