Cynthia's Story
Cynthia's schools include Bowen High School. .
My maiden name was Cynthia Cannon. I graduated one year early in 1974. I should have actually graduated with the class of 1975. I played intramural volleyball and basketball at Bowen.
I have worked at Amtrak as an on-board cook and supervisor, served time in the Army National Guard, and worked as a Registered nurse in hospitals throughout Chicago. For the last 24 years, I worked in the Chicago Public Schools practical nursing program, 22 years as nursing...Expand for more
faculty and 2 years as the administrator.I just completed my Doctorate in nursing at Graceland University and presently work as a medical instructor at Daniel Hale Williams High School and also at ATS nursing program. My hobbies are reading and traveling. I am very active in my church (The Connection church) coordinating health promotion events with the assistance of South Shore Hospital for the Calumet Heights community. I am looking forward to seeing all the Bowenites at the "1975" 40th year reunion.
