Cynthia (Cindy)'s Story
Life
I'm a mother of 2 adult children. My daughter Atisha is 29yrs.,my son Eric is 27yrs. He has made me a grandmother to Brooke 9yrs.Both of my kids are on their own and doing great. My daughter is a RN & my son is a route driver.
I'm getting ready for a divorce from Leon Brown, whom I meet in Fristoe Mo. in 1986 after 24yrs together it's done!Your addition is right he isn't my kids dad,James Chowning is.However,Leon & I raised them.
We(for now)live in Indep. Mo.and I have 2 shih Tzus (a mom & her daughter)Have had them since Sept.1997.
The best way for me to calm down is smoke a cigarette and go for a drive.
My hero was my MOM,She had ALOT of health issues(passed away Oct.7,1999) but yet she always had a smile and a hug for anyone. She had so much strenght!I've been told that I'm a strong person with everything I've been through.Well,it had to of come from my MOM!
The one person from my past that I'd like to see most would be Steve Miller,a guy that lived with James & I when we first was married in Hawthorn Apts. He had a drinking problem, but kept himself under control. He was a nice guy and always could count on a smile from him,he also was nice looking and easy to talk too
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the whole thing and add on a heated swimming pool. My dream home would be in the counrty.
I have two great kids.I've learned alittle from them both.My daughter Tisha, has taught me to enjoy life because you work hard for it!My son Eric,if you don't like what your driving, you can always sell it and buy something el...Expand for more

My current age is 46. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be pretty old. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm a I have a big heart and can count on me when they need me, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as someone that should take time for myself and fix up!
I share my home with my husband Leon, which I find would be lost without me because he's not organized.
Pam Magrurder,we meet in the 7th grade. She was a new kid and I just started talking and we found out we lived close enough to each other we could walk. She went to Germany for 3 years,we still kept in touch by writting and still talk(not as much)but when we do we catch up like we never missed a day! We always seem to make sure we send each other birthday cards and Christmas cards! I'll always think of her as my BEST FRIEND!I hope she will remember me as being someone who you could count on!
My first job was at Good Ole Days, where I got paid $1.70 hour plus tips to waitress. What I remember most about it is a guy come in and could tell it was my 1st day placed his order which wan't much, while I was getting his order ready he had drew a cartoon sketch on a napkin of me(a waitress) with a big smile on her face.He tipped me $10.00..
When my family had just moved to Raytown Mo. I was sitting on the porch eating some candy watching this girl ride up & down the street.Kept making faces at me.I said to her "I'll give you a piece of candy if you'll be my friend" she said OK! Hi Leah(was Hocking)!
