After graduation I went straight to work (nevermind the fact that I had a scholarship to UALR). N-E-Wayz...I worked at St. Vincent, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, US Postal Service, Delta Dental, Mexico Chiquito...you name it - while later attending UALR. Moved to Dallas. Worked at AllState, UPS, a club called Phenomenon (LOL - me? at a club? come on now) and finally found my spot at AT&T - where I've been for 8 years. I currently attend Dallas Baptist University. I've been married to Kenya Smith for nearly 5 years, we have 2 beautiful little girls. In between all of that, I did find time to publish my first novel, "Love Ghost's" (by Cynthia Rene', which you can order at barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com - ha ha haaaa - but for real, go order it) and am looking forward to publishing many more...that is, if I ever manage to scale the prison walls of AT&T and break FREE!!! In my spare time (whenever THAT is) I eat-sleep-breath music! I love all kinds really except for bluegrass, heavy metal, southern gospel and the blues. Okay...well so I DON'T love all kinds! But mostly I do. I play drums, have written a couple of songs along the way - to no acclaim, but I'm working on it. Taking piano to become a better songwriter/composer. I'm a pretty good cook - spaghetti, dressing, baked chicken, enchiladas, tacos, smothered chicken, catfish, oxtails, beef stew, porkchops, chicken tetrazzini, you name it, I can probably do it, but I've had to ease up because all of our clothes seem to be shrinking...go figure!
