Cynthia's Story
Life
My husband
and I were apartment neighbors. I was finishing college and he was finishing law school when we met. We dated for 3 years and then married. I was in PR and he is a lawyer. We both love to travel and did a lot of that before we had children. Now that the boys are older, we're starting to do it again with them.
Our family hobbies are skiing, boating, traveling and surfing...I'm best at watching when it comes to surfing. We bought a ski boat and are hoping not to kill ourselves.
My Kids
We have two active boys. Mitch,(17) is at La Costa Canyon, is into football, surfing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding and is working on his Eagle for Scouts. Connor,(14), skis and wakeboards, plays Pop Warner football, runs track and is in Boy Scouts. I try to keep up.
My Job
I have recently gone back to work as an HR generalist/recruiter. It's not my dream job b...Expand for more

School
Kinda shy in high school. Missed out on some things, but made some good friends. Had way more fun in college!
College
College was a great time in my life. I came out of my shell and really got the most out of life. Made a lot of lifetime friends and traveled quite a bit both on some college sponsored trips and on my own. Oh yeah, and I studied...Majored in Journalism with a minor in Psychology.
Workplace
Worked in PR and marketing for a small agency and then a large law firm. Then Marketing for Price Club/Costco. Retired temporarily when my children were small and will start the process of going back to work this year (2007). Eventually, I want to start a new career, maybe in the arts or travel. Never too late to start over, right? Makes life an adventure!
