Cynthia's Story
It's been a bit of a wild ride. Started out at U Lowell in music education, transferred to Boston Conservatory of Music and got my bachelor of music in vocal performance. Then I decided I wasn't cut out to be a starving artist and went to nursing school at NECC in Haverhill, was my nursing class president and graduated in 1984. I've lived all over the country, doing home health nursing, med surg nursing and psych nursing in DC, Philly, Northern Virginia, Colorado (Denver and Colorado Springs) and now Portland Oregon. 't sing for a LONG time, I'm back at it with a vengeance. I cantor for a large Catholic church in Vancouver, sing with a group called Soul Expression, another larger chorale and chamber orchestra called Bravo!Vancouver and have had some neat opportunities, including a solo on a CD. I also just got certified as a legal nurse consultant and am working on building my business. I am married with one son of my own and two of my husband's, all of whom are on their own and reasonably well-behaved. :) Would love to hear from any and all!
