Cynthia's Story
It's been awhile, but here is the last 20 years in a nut shell. I graduated from Biola with a degree in Art Therapy. I then was a activities director for an Alzheimers organization.
Shortly afterwards I was married to a man by the name of Abby Banerjee. He is a Mechanical engineer and owns his own company.
We have two girls Shalani (9) and Sheyenne (6). I am a domestic engineer, which basically means I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool full time. I am loving life and my family. Homeschooling is alot of hard work as one can only imagine...some people think that I sit around and eat bon bons all all day (not true-just chocolate frosting). We are involved in two homeschooling oranizations and love the interaction we have.
We also have a 1 year old lab named Clyde. He is like having 5 sons in one body (the ultimate boy I never had), full of energy and mischief, but we love him. Our life is never boring.
My girls are very busy and full of energy as well. We all enjoy our church in Orange and love the Lord with all our hearts. It is hard to see our nation lo...Expand for more
sing its grip. I have been very active in keeping up...ugh! Lord come quickly.
My husband Abby is originally from India and we have the amazing blessing of going and visiting. We just spent a month their in December. It was the first time for our girls. Their eyes were wide eyed and reflexes keen...for fear of getting run over by a rik shaw. They saw their first Indian wedding, traveled to Agra, Delhi, and Jaipur. Had their first elephant ride and saw the poor slums. They also had their hands and arms painted...saw the largest mosque in the world and the Taj Majal.
It was a great trip, but to this day they are not wanting a single bit of Indian food.
They were very heart broken at seeing children wondering the streets without parents and wondering and asking a million questions. We were also interviewed on 4 different news channels about security issues. We're famous!
We are looking forward to summer break and lots of fun. We would love to see as many people from Voyagers and meet your families. Please contact me and lets get together.
God Bless all of you.
