Cynthia's Story
Hey, everyone! Moved back to Florida this year to enjoy the sun and gulf. I am an artist/jewelry designer and work for myself. How lucky am I? I know there are a lot of you out there living in the sunshine state and would love to hear from you! Actually, would love to hear from all classmates!
Mother of one daughter, Amy, and one grandchild, Nicholas...they live in Vermont.
I worked for years as a realtor back in NH and only moonlighted with my artistic creations. The market fell apart so I turned to my 'creative side' and moved south. I live with an African Grey (Jingles), a cat (Rosie), and one cranky old Shih Tzu named Raggs. I talk a lot to all 3 but Jingles is still the only one who talks to me. will commit myself to one of the many facilities available down here.
I am healthy, happy and blessed to be both. I hope to have many, many more years ahead to bask in this beautiful life before someone ships me off to an adult dormitory to spend my last days on earth picking imaginary lint off my housecoat!
Hope you are all where you want be at this stage in your lives. Don't know about anyone else but I am enjoying this stage in my life. Just getting to the age where I can say what I think and get away with it. Still cringe at the whole senior discount thing, though. Would rather pay the extra 10 percent and avoid the questions. I still feel 18 in my mind and wish my body felt the same. Not to worry...I don't act 18.
Be happy, be nice. Hugs to all!
