Cynthia's Story
After graduation I went to college for a short time and decided that wasn't for me so I went to work for the Telephone Company in Miami. In "73" I met and married my husband and 42 years later we are still married. He's a keeper and I have no desire to train another one! Ha! We are both retired from careers in banking and discovered early in our marriage that we have a passion for building and remodeling houses. were blessed with our beautiful daughter. We have two grandchildren, an awesome son-in-law and two grandpigs (guinea pigs). Life has been pretty typical...good times and bad but I feel very blessed. With the exception of the last year and a half I continued to sing at the various churches I have attended. I suffered a problem with my vocal cords but after 4 months of physical therapy and speech therapy and a whole lot of prayer I am now starting to sing again. We live in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
