Cynthia's Story
I went to Hoke County High School from 9th to 11th grade. Moved over the summer to Alabama and graduated from Tuscaloosa County High. I was pregnant when I moved. I had my first daughter, Raquelle Jolie aka Joey or JoJo, in March of 2002, very pround of that. I still walked across the stage. I got a job, did what I had to do. I had lots of help from family and made it through. I got married to my wonderful husband Chris in August of 2005. He has 2 daughters, both just as wonderful. a flight nurse (like on a helicopter). I currently work as a nurse assistant. I enjoy it, but want better for my family. Going to school to better myself, finally. Life handed me lemons to start, but I made some pretty damn good lemonade out of it. To all my old friends at Hoke I still think about you and miss the old times (but I'm so glad the high school drama is over). I hope to hear from you soon. To the few people that actually got to know me at County High, I want to say thank you. I needed what you gave me and that was your friendship. Keep in touch.
