Looking forward to the 30the reunion and catching up with old acquaintances. I am starting the almost empty nester years with mixed feelings. My job of raising children is over (and I'm too old to do it again so I'm glad it's over!!!)and hopefully I have done a good job. But I feel like the purpose I had in life is also almost over as well. I enjoy my job and feel like I'm making a positive contribution...Expand for more
but there is nothing more rewarding than raising children. But we recently downsized a couple of years ago to put kids through college so I am enjoying the home improvement/decorating projects. I've discovered I have a hidden talent getting into small spaces (actually everyone else in the family is over 6 feet tall so it's not like I had a choice!!) to insulate and cement a dirt floor crawl space in the basement .
