Cindy's Story
Workplace
I went to work at Ft. Bragg in 1967 and worked there until 1969.
1969 -- Moved to Washington DC and worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
1970 -- moved to Los Angeles, CA and I took a short break from working. We were only in LA for about 4 months and moved back to Fayetteville.
Late 1970-1972 -- Worked at Womack Army Hospital (took off about 6 months when I had a baby).
November 1972 -- Moved to Cary, NC.
July 1973 - ...Expand for more
January 1984 -- Worked at Durham VA Hospital.
January 1984 - June 1984 -- Worked for KRON Medical (a "doc-in-a-box" organization)
June 1984 - present -- Research Triangle Institute, Research Triangle Park, NC.
April 2012 -- RETIRED from RTI International after almost 28 years.
I spend most of my time at my place at Atlantic Beach these days. Hopefully by this time next year I will be saying that I'm living at Atlantic Beach permanently!
