Cynthia's Story
Married in 1969, One child , born 1969. Remarried in 1974,( 2 step-sons, really my boys too ). After college I worked as an R.N. at various Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Private Nursing Agencies. Bryce retired after working 40 years as an enginier (Pattern Maker) foe Ford Motor Co., Cleveland Casting Plant. I took a position in 1994 to work for Ford Motor Co. also. We were thinking ahead towards retirement and I wanted to contribute something towards our retirement DREAM (sailing carefree around the World. That's where we our now ! Bryce retired in the late summer of 2003 and I did as well but not until December 2, 2005. Bryce and I started our adventure in Lake Erie to Lake Michigen during my summer vacation. systems locks towards The Gulf Of Mexico. I rejoined him and we crossed to Flordia. I returned to work and hired a childhood friend of Byce's to auctioned off our Posseions. The house was sold three weeks after the auction by the same Auction/Realtor friend. The rest of the story I'll spare you. We have been living aboard our 45 foot custom steel ketch "ANDANTE", cruising through The Carribean Islands as far East to St. Estaica (1 island past St. Marritan. We have been to Belize,Guatemale,Honduras and are now heading East then South towards Panama,The San Blas Islands,Costa Rico, Nicaraua and Cartihenna,Columbia. Live is carefree and full of adventures. We do trade in having the fine luxuries and conventious from our Land LUBBERS live. But we seem to get by and love visiting new places in our travels.
