Cynthia's Story
Life
After FHS, I graduated from UNC-G w/ a BA in Psychology and then from VCU w/ an MBA. Worked in Marketing Research in Richmond, in Development at Peace College and University Advancement at NC State, and then as a development and marketing consultant. While working at NC State, I completed the coursework for a PhD in Psychology (Human Resources Development and Organization Development) but just couldn't get that dissertation done!

ion, providing mediation and other dispute resolution services.
I married David Aspnes in 1997. Dave is a professor of physics at NC State. We have lots of cats and dogs, all rescues from either Franklin or Wake County.
I am involved in Democratic politics, animal rescue organizations, non-profits dedicated to human relations and public policy initiatives, the social justice activities at my church, and several professional organizations related to dispute resolution.
