Cynthia's Story
Moved to Parker, AZ in 1972 living on the "shores" of the Colorado River (45 mi south of Lake Havasu City then moved to Phoenix in 1984. Love Arizona even though it gets a "bit" warm June to Sept but the air conditioning is very helpful. Other than those months, the weather and everything else in the state is beautiful. Lots to do and see. No tornados, earthquakes, hurricanes....
I do visit California a couple times each year as I have grandchildren and family there, not forgetting friends that are still there. Speaking of freinds, in a 2007 visit and through Classmates, I reconnected with 3 "next door neighbors" whom I grew up with and who were one and two years, respectively, behind me at SLH. We had not seen each other in "50 years".
It was a wonderful visit talking about "old" times as kids and teenagers which was kind of scary!

etired a few years ago, after 32 years of working for the AZ State Health Department, I now have more time to travel.
Hope to see everyone at our "55th Reunion". I've gone to every reunion which has been very nice to see everyone and been very interesting to find what others have done over the years.
p.s. Last year (2016) went on a cruise ,........ Viking Cruise on the Rhine River for 8 days. BEST vacation I have ever been on. No big crowd on board, weather was perfect and soooo much to see. Got to tour several castles (rough life living in one of those though .... lol !!!!! Annnnd no sea sickness because the river is so smooth. Sure glad of that., Also, on personal note I became a great-grandmother for the first time on December 30, 2016. S0000 exciting.
