Cynthia's Story
Straight out of high school I planned on going to college for some kind of degree in art but parents wouldn't go for it so I went to Beauty College... my second choice but my heart was for fine art, drawing, painting, etc. Got my cosmetology license in 1970. Got married later that same year, two days after Christmas. Been married almost 40 years to the same guy :) Got lucky. Had two very very beautiful sons by the time I was 22.
Started searching for "truth" in many religions and ended up deciding after some miracles to follow the Lord August 3,1976 and never looked back. Jesus is the most important relationship in my life. My husband and I go to Bridgeway Christian Church in Rocklin. But wait there's a whole lot more to the story...
To put it simply after another miraculous event (truly not just saying that) in 1986 I got a full time job at our church at the time in Fresno (Valley Christian Center) as an illustrator for Children's Sunday School c...Expand for more
urriculum. Besides that I have painted many children's murals, wrote and illustrated Christian activity books that actually got published and worked many years as a head graphic artist at a large church in Roseville CA.
Now I'm slowing down a bit and work purely for pleasure volunteering doing murals, memory verse coloring sheets for church and missions overseas and oil paintings. You can see a few of my drawings and oil paintings on FB towards the end of my albums.
We are blessed by our one grandson and beautiful daughter-in-law who's a first grade teacher in Fresno. Here's our grandson, Noah Stone Jackson's blog;

We have a beautiful home on one acre with a view of the Sierra Nevada In northern California. We have lived here for 16 years.
I am thankful for knowing my Savior, Jesus Christ, who continues to give me strength. Life has been hard but by God's grace I hope to end well. Not bitter but better because of HIM! :D
