Time heals all wounds. The word on the page stare blankly at me. Whoever ...Expand for more
decided that must have never been hurt, never endured excruciating pain, never been in the midsts of great suffering. Time is just a mixture of salt and vinegar in the wounds of our hearts. Time doesn't heal my wounds, it doesn't make them better. it will never be better and it doesn't make the pain and agony just disappear. Time is not magical, it is not going to bring back my friends that have died, its not going to erase the memories of those nights of fear walking in the shadows avoiding your sharp temper. Time will not heal me, it may get easier with time but my sad and heavy heart does not feel that way yet. The bad memories wont disappear and the good seem to slip away to easily. Time will not mend my broken heart or shatter soul, they will forever stay broken. I am the only one who can heal my wounds, if and when I choose to if they can be fixed. Time will not heal my wounds, time will not make things better, but with time I can heal my wounds and fix my broken heart.".
