Cynthia's Story
I spent 26 years in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall UK where I met my ex-husband and had a wonderful son who is now 23. From there we went to Grissom AFB Indiana, Altus AFB Oklahoma, Incirlick AB Turkey, Shaw AFB SC. I was deployed to Iraq from Shaw in 2004 for 6 months. I left Shaw in 09 and headed to Korea until 2010 and then went back to Shaw AFB. Air Force. I have been happily divorced since 2012 and remain as such currently as happily single. I am now a civilian Air Traffic Control Specialist for the Air Force and I work on an Army Post talking to Navy Helicopters and I absolutely love where I am at in life. I have no regrets and I never look back. I live my life and treat others as I would like to be treated and I always try to see all sides of the picture before making judgement.
