Cyrus Benson:  

Life Hey Good People. Life has been good to me. I am in my 30th year as an employee of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. I started working here 3 months after my 17th birthday, thanks to the COOP program, Mrs. Hollingsworth and Mr. Gilmore. I graduated Strayer College in "89" with a BS in Data Processing Mgmt. I currently work with the Publications Team, specializing in Desktop Publishing & Graphics Design. I still live in the DC area and am loving it. I am licensed minister at a local church and "being Born Again" is the best part of my life. In March 2001, i got a chance to go to West Africa (Dakar, Sengal) for 7 days and the experience far exceeded all imaginings that i dreamed the experience would be. Down through the years, since leaving "HD", i have dabbled in music from singing, traveling with a local group, writing, sitting in w/Jazz trios at Coffee Houses, to appearing on a few local TV shows, and recording a demo. It's my ultimate goal to establish a music publishing company and lease some of my music to other artist.... and maybe sing a "little bit".
