Life For 30 odd years I've studied animal behaviour (including humans!!) and am a happy academic. In 2002, after a parting of the ways with my partner of 17 years, I moved to Western Australia where I currently live and teach Biological Anthropology at the Univ of WA. Recently, I learned to drive a 4WD down rock faces and through water and mud and had a great time navigating using GPS. Never too old to add new skills! I was lucky to spend a couple of months in 2007 in very remote tropical forests studying primates. Very tough, very remote, and beautiful beyond imagination. My daughter attends Australia National Univ in Canberra and I am missing her good company but am happy that she is pursuing her dreams (she studies law, spanish and arabic). My son graduated from UCSC in history and works for Amazon in the legal department as well as working in music (drummer and production) when he has the time.
