S's Story
Life is amazing isn't it? After graduating high school I could have never predicted or even remotely guessed where I would be 20 years later.
I am living in North Carolina. I know, your saying, "Why and how North Carolina?". All I can say that life can take you to strange and beautiful places you never expected if you just take the risk.... and Karie, my wife, who I have been married to for 15 years now and have three beautiful girls with, took that risk years ago.

d my younger sister had already moved a few years ealier to Newberg Oregon, a Portland suburb. So....we chucked it all and moved to Oregon without jobs or money. We liked it though and built a life there. Had three girls built two houses Karie taught school and I worked in high tech building and managing websites. 8 years went by and I got offered a job in North Carolina with the parent company I worked for. The deal was too good for us to pass up....so we took our second leap and have been in North Carolina for 5 years and love it.
Now I am working for ABC News.
