DR's Story
Taken from my published biography:
In High School, he was known as Doug Rawson- A True Possibilist

Mr. Rawson is retired. He's held senior leadership positions in the computer, health care, insurance, Internet, manufacturing and oil sectors of our economy. He is credited with many new business ventures and has traveled the world in pursuit of business and opportunity.
As a leader and serial entrepreneur, Mr. Rawson aggressively pursues the challenges associated with startups and/or those companies that want to quickly move to the next level of growth and increase their profits. His accomplishments and firsts include marketing the very first automobile anti-theft device in America. The REST of the STORY:
I grew up very poor and we were homeless when I was 10 and 11. I had the privilege of attending an elementary school that was all Hispanic (5 miles from the Mexican border) except for my sister and I. My first year in Jr. High School was in an area of San Diego where my sister and I were the only kids that were not African American.
My Father died at age 42. I was 18. My Mother died at age 44. I was about to turn 21. My wife and I finished raising my younger Brother and Sister.
I spent 22 years working in the ministry trying to benefit others and my own family.
My passion is helping others succeed. This is the hardest work I've ever attempted. We're working on a national and international basis to improve living standards, create jobs, affordable housing, create solutions to assist homeless in America and provide more services to Veterans (I'm a Vietnam era Vet myself). Since 2008 this task has been daunting here and abroad.
The future:
I tried to retire at age 36, 42, 48, 54 and 58. No luck. However, I did get a taste of what a real retirement might be like. My longest retirement period was 2 years. Frankly, I was getting pretty miserable. My wife and I have agreed that there will be NO retirement for us.
Today:
My passion is helping not-for-profits succeed. It's also for Cadillacs. I'm the President of the Las Vegas Cadillac Club. We also have a 501 c 3 that feeds the homeless in Las Vegas.
We have 6 children, 15 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Thanks for taking the time to read about my family and me.
