Jacqueline's Story
After graduating from La Mirada I went directly into working in an office. I worked for various general contractors and management firms (on and off) for about 25 years. During that time I raised 3 children and attended college part time in the evenings.
After 22 years of marriage to Joe Standard we divorced. I finished raising our children on my own while attending CSUSB and working part time as an art teacher. I taught art to senior citizens for 12 years through RCC and Jurupa USD. I attended California State University, San Bernardino. I received my MA from CSUSB in 2000.

moved to Pullman WA in 2005. Though officially retired, we operate two businesses from our home; RJR Tractor and RJR Solar.
Though I no longer teach I still paint; mostly oils of the Palouse (the area where we live). I have a website PaintingsForSale (dot) com. Many of the paintings have sold. Between working the two businesses, baby sitting grandchildren and gardening during the warmer weather painting often gets pushed down the priority ladder. But, painting is my passion and I will never quit.
We do like to travel when we get the time. Until we both 'officially' retire though I don't think we will go too far.
