Dale's Story
My story, wow. I guess I can sum up my story with, I've been a deputy sheriff with the Travis County Sheriff's Office since 1988. Now I'm a cynical street cop with lots of funny stories about people and the situations they get themselves into. Growing up in Travis County, knowing a lot of the deputies and State Troopers,(no not from the backseat in handcuffs), I guess I finally realized that was the job for me. Fun? Absofreakinglutely! feel that it has made me grow as a human being and it has shown me that while some people are idiots, others do really care. The vast majority of people do still have a great deal of integrity and compassion.
There are three beautiful Border Collies living with my beautiful wife Janet and me. I guess you could call them our "kids".
As for the music scene, I still honk on my fluegelhorn and bang around on the piano a little. I don't play all that great, but I have fun.
