Dale's Story

Proud to display a current picture of myself and my wife, Quan. I married Quan in Handan, China on May 21, 2011 on her 41st birthday. She has a 17 year old daughter. This is my first marriage at age 61. I spent 13 years as a Police Officer. I hold an advanced Peace Officer License and Certified by Texas as a Forensic Hypnotist. I also spend 7 years in the United States Marines transporting military prisoners cross country. Some of my odd jobs have been constructing Radio and TV towers from the ground up all over the East coast. There is nothing fun and stressful than hanging on a rope 500 feet off the ground! Another odd job was that of a Bounty Hunter. I actually caught single handed, one of the FBI's 10 most wanted. He was actually a nice guy even though he had killed a Georgia State Highway Patrolmen. When I was in Jr. High 7th grade, I was the same size as all the other guys. After that, everyone grew up except me. I remained little and cute until after High School. Then I grew up. People didn't pick on me any more. I had a major stroke in 2006 and lost complete use of my right side. Strokes suck. With very hard work, I have gained back perhaps 95% use. I explored caves for 35 years until I got too old and wore out. Now I repair the broken headstones at abandoned cemeteries. See photos of my hobby. Now that I have gotten married, I will now be a dedicated husband and father. I just want to live in peace. Let someone else do the dangerous stuff for a while. I've paid my dues. 8-26-2015 UPDATE: My wife and daughter has been in the US for 3 years. They have adjusted fairly well. My daughter is working on her Biology Degree at UTA and then she wants to become a Dentist. She is a very smart kid. She was 4.0 in China. She was placed in the 11th grade here in Arlington one week after arriving from China. She said she could understand about 65% of the English spoken in school. She said she mig...Expand for more
ht understand about 85% at High school graduation. She apologized that she graduated 3.8. Thankfully, everything she had in the 11th and 12th grade in the US was refresher classes as she already had these classes in Junior High in China. Real Chinese food is not like the Chinese food found in the buffets here. I've had corn on the cob and chicken feet for breakfast which is normal for my wife. Yep, a little exotic as noodle soup is the norm if not pizza. In China and Japan, there is no distinction of food for breakfast or dinner. Food is food. My wife has greatly improved using the English language. She got a job doing massage in the ever increasing "foot massage" places. She is currently in school to obtain her Massage Therapist License. She plans on opening her own business later this year. UPDATE My wife passed the State test and is now licensed. We are still researching locations to open her business without getting into a cluster of "Chinese Happy Feet" type of massage businesses. As for me, I retired from work 7-31-2015. When the first freeze occurs, I'll be back in the abandoned historical cemeteries clearing brush and repairing headstones. You can find me on, "Find-a-Grave" as a contributor if you really get bored and need to surf. I am member number 46975713. Check out my photos. BTW, if your bored and looking for something to do, holler at me and come help me. Besides cleaning up the old forgotten cemeteries I also volunteer for taking pictures of headstones for folks on the other side of the country or the world. I've been cleaning cemeteries for about 12 years. I have been asked to speak at gatherings and have been asked to consult. Thanks for ready all this stuff and I'm surprised I've held your attention this long. I decided to end the auto pay for this site. I am cutting out all auto pay sites even if I enjoy them. It is time to get my financial house in order. I want to say bye.
