Dale's Story

Life Well it's been 7 years since I updated this thing so I thought I'd better get on it and let any body who was bored enough to look at it a little more accurate info on what I've been up to. My kids like most of us are all grown up now, Laura is 25 and Kenny is 22, both have graduated college, and are off looking for their fortune ( good luck on that one). I am still the assistant superintendent at River Road Park District, believe it or not I have been at this place 34 years now ( I know that number looks like a type-o) but it's true i never found...Expand for more
the door out, and as I write this I'm not looking to... It's a great place to be and for what ever reason it seems to keep me young ( well at least mentally) And my recreational pursuit still continues to be coaching volleyball, which I'm now doing as the head coach at Northwest Christian College, which has been absolutely the most rewarding and fun experience I've had in coaching thus far! and Julie my wife of 29 years is still in charge of staffing for the short stay orthopedic unit at Sacred Heart. Last night was a blast, I got to hang out with this guy. Otis Davis is a 2 time gold medal olympian in the 400 meters. He was our guest starter for two of the 100 meter races... What a great guy!!
