Dale's Story
Life
I retired last year and also got married, Helen my wife, has never been married, very independent and has strong values. I can't be more happy....We currently live in Jackson, MS which sucks, but her company is here. We are moving to the AL coast in April. Glen Lakes is a golf course community, our house is on the 9th hole. Being an 8 handicap I will be in heaven.
We do have a family of sorts, 2 Aftican Grey parrots, Bogie is 11 months old and spends a lot of his time on my shoulder, although they aren't supposed to speak until they are 18 months old, he has about an 20 word vocabulary, ...Expand for more
Samson is a 5 Month old Grey also, a very sweet bird who will be a great talker. Ziggy, a Senegal is nick named the green demon, about one quarter the size of the grey's he has no fear of them. This morning he bit Eva our doberman, no that is ballsy.
I will become a grand father in September. My son Kevin was married last year. Bought a house in Darien Ct, where I lived for 30 years. His new job is Director of Emergency Management for the city of NY. He is nesponsible for one of the 5 boroughs. Christine my daughter is still not married,and has a great job with a commercial real estate co.
