Dale's Story
Life
After HP, I joined the Marines and for
the next four years traveled around
the world, living in Japan for a year, Korea, and
various other international locations. I ended
up in Kuwait as a squad leader, in charge of
twelve Marines, during the 1st war.
After getting out of the Marine Corps in 1991, I married an awesome woman from Laguna Beach. We lived in La Jolla, CA while attending the University of California. I Graduated with a BA
in computer science, moved to Boston for three years
with my terrific wife, Holly, who earned her Master's degree from Tufts University. While there I consulted to Akamai Tech. & Fidelity Investments. Bought a house in Malden, MA. Remod...Expand for more
eled it, then sold and moved to DC in 2002. Had a son name John Hunter Sutcliffe -- born at Georgetown University. Moved to Mount Pleasant, SC (outside Charleston, SC) and had our second son Chase Christopher Sutcliffe. Am Founder & CEO of VetFriends -- a web
site for reuniting Veterans of the Armed Forces.
I enjoy writing, glass blowing (creating vases, bowels, etc.), photography, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking and exercising.
My favorite thing to do now a days is to hike with my wife, children and two dogs -- Grace & Hope (Graceless & Hopeless)!
