Dalene's Story
After I ;eft La Porte in 1977, I moved to Deer Park, where I graduated in '79. Thank God I was still close enough to visit often! I married my High School Sweetheart (from Deer Park) in 1980; we had two girls -- Whitney and Hailey. Unfortunately the marriage didn't last, we were divorced in 1994. I remarried the love of my life in 1997, after three fun and free years of single motherhood. At the time of my divorce I was in my second year of college majoring in Interior Design. k and moved to Baytown with my new husband and two girls. I was able to go back to school then and graduated with a degree in Interior Design and a second in Architectural Drafting in 2003 - just one year before my oldest daughter graduated from high school! My youngest daughter graduated in 2008. We are proud grandparents of a little boy - now two years old - Logan. He is my heart. We enjoy riding our Harley on sunny days and spending time at home with our two dogs - Rocky and Bullwinkle. My life is pretty quite and peaceful now that the girls are grown. I like it that way!
