Dan's Story
I don't have much of a story; I just try to keep myself occupied. Retired in 2001 after being laid off from my maintenance job at a senior citizen apartment complex. I just felt too old and tired to look for another job.So I retired. Then I proceeded to catch up on my reading :D
My older daughter, Heather is enrolled in college in San Jose. with, she says, a PHD as her goal. As it is, she's the first member of four generations of this...Expand for more
family to even attend college for any type of degree. Now her sister, April is going to start college in Sacramento in the fall. Until then, she remains at her Customer rep job at Fedex. She hates it.
I'm still reading. Right now, I've just bought Jean Auel's final book in the Earth's Children series, "The Land of The Painted Caves". I'm only on page 145 and so far not much has happened except a cave lion hunt.
That's about it, for me.
