Dan's Story
June 1975: it was a short summer break! A week after graduation I was off to Colorado Springs for basic training at the Air Force Academy. Cris Fortain, Carlos Zamudio, and Don Huey saw me off at LAX. Twenty-three years later, after eight assignments, and with my wife (Kathy) and three kids, I returned to San Pedro for my last assignment at LA Air Force Base in El Segundo. r Force housing off 25th St for five years; enough time for our two daughters to graduate from SPHS (4th generation). Our first grandbaby was born earlier this month and she seems to have a little Pirate spirit in her as well.
After retiring from the Air Force in 2003, we've settled just down the road in Murrieta. I look forward to jarring some memories and catching up with you all at the 35th reunion.
