Dan's Story
Life
Well since 1966 a lot of changes for me. I was in the USMC from 1972 - 1980 stationed in California. Was divorced while there. I left the Marines in 1980 swearing never to work for the Governement again. Then I got a job with the US Postal Service and I worked for them for over 20 years.
I now work for the University of Oklahoma in Norman Oklahoma. If you knew me you'll never guess what I do. I'm teaching adults. Well it's technical training but who would have thought it huh?
I got 2 kids both grown. My youngest is almost 28 and she has 2 little ones of her...Expand for more
own now. My oldest daughter is 40 (she can't be that old) with a grown son and three wonderful girls.
I retired from the Postal Service and bought a motorhome was planning a full time life on the road. But that wasn't as much fun as I thought. So I went back to work.
My hobbies are travel, hunting, fishing and golf. Even though I live in Oklahoma I try to return to Alabama at least once or twice a year to spend some time back in B'ham with my brothers. They live in Pinson and Pell City.
