Dan's Story
After CCHS, I graduated from LA Trade Tech, (June 1969). Went into the Navy, (Dec 1969). Honrably discharged, (Sept 1973).
Worked for various companies as a Mechanical/Electrical Draftsman, (1973 - 1986). Entered the USPS, (Los Angeles) as a Letter Carrier, (Feb 21, 1987). Transfered to Gresham, OR, PO, (June 26, 1993). Retired from Gresham PO, (Oct 31, 2014).
Got married to my present wife, Phyllis, (Jan 20, 1995). We live in Portland, OR. I never had any children of my own. Phyllis has 3 grown children. Among Phyllis' children are 4 children who consider me as their grandfather, as their 2 remaining real grandfathers have little or no contact with them. We do have a 12 lb dog, Madison, which is a "Coton De Tulear". It's a rare breed that's not recognized by the AKC, but it's gaini...Expand for more

Rollerskating was my activity of choice when I was 15 to my mid 40's. I competed in backwards roller-rexing from 1972 -1992, in So Cal. Won lots of dust collectors, doorstops, and paperweights...er trophies.
My present activites include, rollerskating, fishing, alpine skiing, bodyboarding, and singing.
I love to sing. I sang in church choirs and worship teams all of my adult life. Took private voice lessons for several years. Sang wth the Rose City Timberliners Men's Brabershop Chorus, (in Portland, OR), for 1-1/2 years. I started my own men's a cappella quartet in Sept 2011, and we're just starting to perform this year, (2014).
Retirement is very restful, and gives me more time than money. I'd love to hear from any classmate. I plan to be at the 50th reunion in 2017.
