Dan's Story
Life
I became a parent for the first time on January 29, 2007. My son is Calvin McCoy Holsenback. I am no longer married, but am co-parenting with my former wife, Jana, who is a terrific mom.
I live in Carmel Valley (2 blocks from being a Del Martian) and spend much of my free time training CrossFit.

School
I graduated from Marian High School in 1982. My class ring has a surfing image on one side and a class president insignia on the other. I'm not sure what significance to place on...Expand for more

College
I graduated from Marian High School in 1982, packed my VW Van, and drove up to Tacoma, Washington to attend the University of Puget Sound. I loved college, majoring in Politics & Government and spending a lot of time on extracurricular activities (KUPS, ASUPS, and SAE). After graduating from UPS in 1986, I headed off to King Hall School of Law at UC Davis, where I served as Senior Notes & Comments Editor of the Law Review and left as a proud member of the Class of 1989.
Workplace
I am a lawyer with my own practice. I worked as an actor for some time. I would like to become a professional snowboarder or Navy SEAL, but I do not think that is going to happen.
