Dan Jocoy:  

Life My name is Dan Jocoy. I attended Pedro Valley School 1965-68, Cabrillo 1968-72 and Terra Nova 1972-76. I have three brothers, Mark, Scott and Mike and a sister who is the oldest, Suzanne. We lived on Crespi Dr. A few of my closests friends were the Riglings, Tony Mackey, Mark Wheatley and Brett Lowart. The first girl I ever "liked" was Tammy Slack (5th grade) and the girl I had a crush on in Middle School was Sue Periera. My first "real" girlfriend was Krystal Davis of Rockaway Beach. My childhood in Pacifica was filled with baseball at White Field and on Tapis Court, Football at Pedro Valley, Cabrillo and Odstead Park. Playing in the woods above Alma Heights School. When I got into High School I started doing drugs and my happy self became introverted and very insecure. I certainly felt like I missed my High School and as I looked at the 1976 Yearbook recently at our 30th Reunion, I thought, "Where was I when all this fun was happening?" After High School, I played in a band with Greg Naumann and Mark Ellefson. I moved to be with my mother in Placerville and then returned to Pacifica in early 1979 and lived out at Shelter Cove. I returned back to Placerville in November of 79 and dated a girl who was a a devoted Christian and in Feb. of 1980 I gave my life to Jesus Christ. In 1981, I attended a seminary in Denver, Colorado and got a degree in Bible and Ministry in 1984. During that time, I met my wife-to-be in Placerville at church, Wendi Rose.
