Dan's Story
Life
After school I spent a couple of years working at Sambos and Old Grants. I joined the Navy in May of 1980. After Bootcamp and Hospital Corps School in San Diego I recieved orders to Oakland at the Naval Hospital, where I attended X-ray school. In 1982 I left for 3 1/2 years in Hawaii, where I was able to go to most everywhere in the Western Pacific. Next I found myself back in San Diego for a year followed by 4 years in Newport RI, where I married my first wife and had a boy named Cameron. I was than stationed in Okinawa Japan where I devorced my first wife and met my 2nd wife, not all at once, over a 4 year period. I than went to Great Lakes Illinois, where I married my 2nd wife and had a lovely daughter whom we named Dani. After 4 years next to the Windy City we moved on to Norfolk Virginia. I spent 2 years in Norfolk before retirement. I started working at a small hospital in Virginia Beach a couple of months after moving to the area and started with them full time the Monday after my Friday retirement. am very proud of her and all of the service men and women who are fighting for our freedom. We live in a lovely home in Chesapeake Va. with our 2 labs,5 bearded dragons, and 1 frog. Talk about a zoo, oh my mother in law lives with us but I promise this is definately no reference to the zoo comment. I love spending time with the kids, of course my wife says I am still one. I also enjoy playing golf as often as I can. I plan on retiring in Tenessee, which is one of the places that remind me of Northern Ca. but without the cost, oh and the ocean. Drop me a line if you remember me or even if you just want to shoot the s---.well been a while since I updated. We finally moved to Cookeville Tennessee. My youngest is now 21 and is a Junior in College....Where does the time go? Still working in Virginia, I travel an Teach the Radiology and Cardiology piece of our electronic medical record. Sweet job! We have Hospitals in New York, Virginia, South Carolina, Baltimore and Kentucky. I still really love traveling! Anyway thought I would give a quick update! Cheers!!
