Dan's Story
Life
I just returned to Chicago in
December after spending about two
years in San Francisco. Great city,
but too far from friends and family.
Plus I had to sell my plasma to afford
to rent my apartment. I work for an
advertising agency downtown. The
same thing I have been doing since
college, but third company. My fiance
Sarah and I are to be married in
September. She is from Stevens
Point, Wisconsin and is a flight
attendant for United Airlines. No, I
did not meet her on a flight, I met her
in a bar like normal people. We live
on the North side, about 10 or 12
blocks West of Wrigley Field. Some
of my friends and I are season ticket
holders, so I'm seeing lots of Cubs

have no children
as far as I know. I still play soccer
with a team up here, although we are
between leagues right now. I drink
way more than I should on
weekends. I enjoy living in the city,
and have yet to own a car, although I
am marrying into one. I don't keep in
touch with many people from our
class, although Jason Woods and I
have been in a couple online fantasy
leagues together. The jerk still owes
me $25 from the football league.
Don't make any bets with Woods,
apparently. You'd think an officer of
the law would be a little more honest
about his gambling debts. Hope
(Sebby) Vowell is helping me book
my honeymoon. She's a pain
in the ass. I'm still kind of a
smart-ass, I am told.
