Dan's Story
When I left Hillcrest I ended up in Carleton U in the engineering program. I started working as a sound man for different R&R bands to pay the bills. After starting a couple of production companies in Ottawa, I started getting offers that took me further abroad.
My first move was to Rio where we did the production of Rock in Rio. Moved to Paris and took on a few no name bands like Pink Floyd, Eurythmics, Toots, Zap Mama, and the like. Ended up in England for a while. Then went to South Africa and the Congo for a stint ending up ...Expand for more
in Australia after buying a 55' motorsailer. Lived in Moscow for a time.
Fell in love, moved back to the States, sold the boat (mistake) got married, got divorced, became a single parent and raised my daughter.
Did acoustic design for Performing Arts spaces, started a distribution company and currently am finishing building a Biodiesel Company with a research component.
A few details left out here and there (don't want this to be a book). Generally still happy go lucky. Life for all practical purposes is pretty darn marvelous.
